Isuzu Food & Flames Festival 2019

July 2019 marked the opening of the inaugural Isuzu Food & Flames Festival – the first public event to be held at the all new R&G Arena. A two day event made possible by the generosity of various sponsors such as Isuzu, Windhoek, Standard Chartered and Paratus just to name a few. Celebrity chef Justin Bonello aka The Ultimate Braai Master served as the major showcase for the event offering his unique style of outdoor over-the-flame cuisine alongside a carefully selected group of specialty food vendors whose menus ranged from game meat and exotic seafood to delicious freshly baked pastries and desserts. Complete with live musical entertainment from local artists, kids play areas and fun games for all ages, this was the perfect festival for a family outing!
Mosi Day Of Thunder 2018

2018 saw R&G Events’ 3rd year at the helm of the illustrious Mosi Day of Thunder in Livingstone. With continued success over the last two years, expectations from both client and guests were high. Needless to say, the 2018 Mosi Day of Thunder was a tremendous success with an estimated 10,000 in attendance at the Zambian Breweries sponsored event. The line-up of beloved local artists such as Wezi, Bobby East and T-Sean were an ideal complement to the headlining international act Patoranking whose surprise on-stage collaboration with local favourite Slap Dee further highlighted Zambian Breweries’ commitment to supporting the local music industry.
Standard Chartered Road To Anfield 2018

Towards the end of last year, we had the opportunity to work every weekend with MTN, organising house parties for lucky MTN winners! This was topped off by an epic street party, all managed by R&G|EVENTS! With a delicious braai and live musical performances on offer, this was definitely one to enjoy!

In 2017, we decided to host a fantastic Hawaii themed party at Gymkhana Club in Lusaka.

Zambia 7s International Tournament 2017

R&G Events, in collaboration with RGSM, successfully hosted an international sevens tournament which saw Zambia win its first international trophy in over a decade thanks, in no small part, to all of Zambia 7s' generous sponsors.
Alongside all the hard-hitting rugby on show, there was also live performances from artists such as Willz, Jason Gladman and Chef 187. In the end the support from all our local fans was enough to make this an amazing event to remember.
Winter Warmer 2017

R&G Events and Atmosphere Music got together to host this year's Winter Warmer.
With the Zambian meteorological department reporting that this winter is set to be the coldest in years we immediately realized that many Zambians will be subject to the harsh weather without the means to keep themselves warm. The goal of the event was to provide warmth to 10,000 people. Acts from Zambia's best and biggest helped make this event a huge success.

The second installation of the Mosi Day of Thunder was held at the Royal Livingstone Golf Club. With incredible performances from local artists as well as international artist Diamond Platnumz, the music and beer were flowing as the stage lit up with thunderous acts! The all new look of Mosi was revealed, and we loved being a part of such a great occasion.

With almost 3000 people joining us the atmosphere was amazing. Some serious skill was shown on the Beach Volleyball court and a lot of laughter was had in the Zorb Balls! Local DJs Selectah and Tony & Guido took to the stage, showing the crowds the incredible talent Kitwe has to offer! International artist DJ Cleo hit the stage, giving a great finish to the evening and, of course, we all enjoyed our favourite ice cold Flying Fish :) We can't wait to Add Some Flavour with you again!
Alliance Motors Dealership Launch

The Alliance Motors Zambia launch of its gleaming new showroom and the unveiling of the new SUV of the year, the ALL New Jaguar F- PACE.
The event took place at the Jaguar Head Office, along Great East Road yesterday.
Notable members of society were in attendance and the President himself, H.E Edgar Chagwa Lungu was the guest of honour.
It was an exciting event with great entertainment from our local performers. A huge thank you to everyone who attended.

The first Windhoek Winterfest brought local acts like Fossil Rock, Abel Chungu and Kapiri Mposhi 4.0 together for an afternoon and evening of great music, great food and good friends. The event was finished off with a stellar performance from Johnny Clegg that kept the crowd on their feet! We can't wait for the next one!
Safari Polo Tournament 2016

This year’s polo safari tournament was a massive success! Teams from Micmar, FNB, Global Logistics, Capital Fisheries and many more spent the afternoon with Zambia's best polo players battling it out in an exciting tournament. An after party followed with the likes of Ben and DJ Blocks finishing off the event.
Action Auto Motor Show

The 8th Lusaka Motor Show was once again dominated by the Action Auto stand. The entire vehicle lineup was put on show including a special edition KB built to spec for the off-road adventurer.
Competition was tough this year, but the Action Auto and R&G team managed to pull off a spectacular show.

Mosi Lager Day of Thunder

The show kicked off with exclusive performances by Zambian Music Awards nominees and South African crew, Sircus Synergy, who also stormed the stage with their amazing acrobatic stunts.
With an awesome turnout of over 7000 people, the show ended with a blistering performance by South African hip hop heavyweight, Cassper Nyovest, who performed his non stop hits that kept the crowd singing along.

Eastpark Fashion Show

R&G|EVENTS had the pleasure of working with Absolute Gentlemen, a brilliant organisation that raises funds for a great number of charities. The weekend's donations went to the Arthur Davidson Children’s Hospital, buying Neo Natal Packs, Burn Patient Packs and Malnutrition Packs.
The Chicago themed event was great fun, with SA sensation Good Luck gracing the stage for an amazing performance! The work of Absolute Gentlemen goes such a long way and we thoroughly enjoyed helping them out at this event.

The fourth installment of the R&G|Oktoberfest was the largest ever, reaching attendance levels of 7000+ people. International acts like Goodluck and award-winning kwaito artist Proffessor graced the stage with local acts like Chef 187, Abel Chungu, Pompi and the Xplosion band. Dj's included kenyan superstar DJ Joe Mfalme and local club heroes like DJ Psycho Tash, Madesi, Sebastien Dutch, Supastar and many more.

Hisense Zambia Launch

The official launch of the Hisense brand in Zambia was held at the Radisson Blu Big Dome. The media and selected guests were all invited to experience thisnew-to-the-market brand. A live set was played by the band "slam" to around 150 people in attendance.

The winner of this year's Model Search drove away with not only acontract with the biggest modelling agency in South Africa, but also a brand new Chevrolet Spark.

R&G|EVENTS were asked by the Mazabuka community if we could help with a fund raising project. The community wanted to build a new hospital. Needless to say, everyone in the R&G office was excited to help. At this event R&G|EVENTS donated all our equipment for free, and every member of staff who worked that night agreed to do it for free too!
It was an absolute pleasure being part of this fantastic cause. We look forward to seeing the hospital go up!
